KCH is an AMS accredited Montessori school in Kirkwood, MO on three beautiful acres in the woods across from Kirkwood Park. As the only AMS accredited school in Missouri, KCH School welcomes children, ages 18 months through 6 years, and their families from across the St. Louis metro area. Our school is open 5 days a week, 10.5 hours a day, 11.5 months a year. Our school boasts natural playgrounds made with local materials, gardens planted and harvested by the children, a school who prepares a fresh and healthy meal daily, an indoor gross motor space, and open classrooms with an abundance of natural light and views of the surrounding nature. This inspirational backdrop, orderly classroom environments, and lush outdoor playscapes enrich children’s inquiry, spark passionate pursuits, and deepen each child’s curiosity to love and learn about the world around them.

Ideal candidates possess a knowledge of early childhood development, are familiar with the Montessori Method, and are passionate about learning more through collaborative efforts. We are committed to observation of the child, exhibiting peace, prioritizing community and connecting with nature. Members of the KCH faculty hold a variety of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees as well as Montessori certifications in infant toddler and early childhood and education.
